Step Into Santa Cruz: SCAL Members’ Show
November 21, 2025 – December 19, 2025

Come celebrate the amazing members who make SCAL into the community of artistry and talent that we are! This exhibition showcases the artwork of our members at all levels in their artistic journeys.

Yermo Aranda Retrospective
January 14, 2026 - February 20, 2026

This exhibition showcases the vibrant and dramatic work of local multi-media artist Yerma Aranda. Known for his murals, Aranda was named Santa Cruz County Artist of the Year in 2021. His work is inspired by indigenous and aztec cultures.

We’re excited to be offering a wide selection of classes from our wonderful team of instructors, with a variety of mediums including pastels, watercolors, oil and acrylic painting, and drawing and sketching! Our classroom welcomes all levels of students, from complete beginners to experienced artists. Take a look at our class listings to find the right one for you!

Member's Exhibition Family & Friends Community Celebration
November 28, 12:00pm-5:00pm

We invite you to use this special viewing event as an opportunity to share your art with family and friends! It’s a cozy, and enriching stop that everyone can enjoy. Plus, we’ll be offering a free art demo activity with Hajra Meeks and hot chai and treats provided by Skills of Life Cafe.
