Higher Commission Rates

Our Open Studios Preview Show brings in more art sales than almost any other exhibition. If your piece sells, you’ll bring home a higher commission rate as a SCAL member!

Member commission: 70% to artist, 30% to SCAL
Non-member commission: 55% to artist, 45% to SCAL

The deadline to register as a member and receive the member commission rate for this year’s Open Studios Preview Show is Friday, September 26.

More Gallery Opportunities

If you’re interested in having your work on display more often, a SCAL membership is a great way to start. SCAL members receive discounted or free entry into nearly all of our open calls, plus exclusive opportunity to participate in our annual Member’s Show, coming up this November!

NARM Benefits

For just $15 more than our standard plan, your SCAL membership can also come with membership into NARM (the North American Reciprocal Museum Association).
