Hello,
You must be looking at some photography work to be reading this. I hope the work moves you. Pretty much that is my statement, let the work you see move you to a new perspective.
I am a part time amateur photographer. A full-time husband, grandfather, homeowner and professional house designer-builder.
I am a real California kid. Born in Marin County in 1950. Went all the way to San Diego for school. And back to live.
I can remember walking in the creek at camp Taylor with my brother when I was four I think. Not a care in the world. My parents took us up to the mountain town of Mohawk to stay where we would build our cabin on the Feather River at the foot of Eureka Peak. And the rivers and mountains opened to us. Nature became my place of refuge. Even still.
Pondering, why do I love making pictures so much. The sense of whole and complete it brings, not a cognitive process really. Presenting what I hope is the beauty of nature and people is my bit of effort to promote balance in the world. Healing may be defined as a return to natural balance.
