Exhibition Timeline and Key Dates:
Exhibition Dates: Friday, November 21st – Friday, December 19th, 2025
First Friday Reception: December 5th, 5:00 - 7:30pm
Submissions Open: October 1, 2025
Submission Deadline: November 9, 2025 (or when we reach our limit of 150 pieces)
Artwork Drop Off: November 14 & 15, 1-4pm
Artwork Pick Up: December 19, 4-6pm and December 20, 1-4pm

Please note: We will not be displaying an artist bio booklet for this exhibition, however we will be directing visitors to our Member Directory. If you would like your bio published in the directory, please send us your information via this link: Directory Form.
Submission Policies:
All artists are allowed a maximum of 1 submission of size 30”x30” or smaller. Larger pieces may be accepted, but please reach out to SCAL staff in advance if you need a size exemption.
This exhibition is limited to current SCAL members. Memberships will be cross-checked and artists who are not members will be asked to renew or else their artwork will not be accepted into the show. If you are not sure of your membership status, please contact our office staff by email at admin@scal.org or by phone at (831)426-5787.
This exhibition is filled on a first-come, first-serve basis until we reach our limit of 150 pieces, however SCAL reserves the right to refuse acceptance.
All accepted artwork must be gallery-ready when delivered to the Santa Cruz Art League on the above drop-off days. We reserve the right to turn away accepted artwork that is not in a condition to be hung in our gallery. Read our gallery guidelines here.
Artwork must be picked up at the designated pickup times: December 19, 4-6pm and December 20, 1-4pm. Any artwork not picked up on time will be subject to a storage fee of $10 per day.
The member commission rate for artwork sold at SCAL is 70% to the artist, 30% to SCAL. Artwork sold in this exhibit will be subject to this rate.
By submitting your artwork via the form below, you authorize the Santa Cruz Art League to use images of your artwork for promotional purposes, regardless of whether or not your artwork is accepted into the exhibition.
By submitting your artwork via the form below, you acknowledge that SCAL insures work only after installation. Maximum insured value $1000 regardless of price. You may carry your own insurance for your artwork(s) instead of having it insured under SCAL’s policy. You have until the loan agreements are signed to find coverage and inform the SCAL staff.
