
94th Annual California Landscape Exhibition

The Santa Cruz Art League’s first Statewide Landscape Exhibition was first held in 1928. For nine decades, this Landscape Exhibition has showcased the work of artists who depict California’s foothills, mountains, seashores, and deserts of the interior and coastal regions. Come celebrate the beauty of our home state and the talent of its artists!
Open to California residents, plein air and studio artwork paintings of California locations within the last three years of the date of entry. This is a 2D painting exhibition of oils, watercolors, pastels, acrylics, encaustic, and mixed media.

Submission Fee:
SCAL Members - $35 for one entry, $10 for each additional entry up to 5.
Non-Members - $40 for one entry, $10 for each additional entry up to 5.
Acceptance/Rejection Announcements: June 22nd

Shipping Drop Off: July 7,8, 1-4pm
In Person Drop off: July 9,10, 1-4pm.
About the Juror
Kim Lordier received a BFA in Illustration at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco in 1989. Her work has been showcased on the cover of Plein-air Magazine, Art of the West, Southwest Art, and The Pastel Journal, as well as featured in Fine Art Connoisseur, American Artist and The Artist Magazine.
Acknowledged by jurors and her peers, Kim has received recognition for her landscapes at major plein air events, international magazine competitions, national pastel society shows and museum exhibitions. America, Laguna Plein Air Painters Association, and a Distinguished Pastelist of the Pastel Society of the West Coast. Master Circle by IAPS. A coveted workshop instructor, Kim leads workshops across the country.
