While you can’t deny the electricity of a full stadium concert, it’s tough to beat the intimacy of a small venue: the proximity to the stage, the lack of crowds and being up-close and personal to these awesome musicians/performing artists.

Little do people know, that the Santa Cruz Art League also has a 62-seat theatre, the Broadway Playhouse, that showcases a wide range of performing artists.

In 2017 artists like Amy Dabalos, Gina Rene, Bahia Samba Jazz, AZA performed at the Broadway Play House.  as well as a stage reading of “Ok Cupid”, a play in progress by playwright Jeffrey Lo. So please check back with us for news on future events.
