This studio course will focus on the materials and techniques of watercolor to explore the wealth of interesting shapes, patterns, textures, and abstractions that can be found in landscapes. Our class will learn how to apply the same aesthetic principles all artists use – shape, value, color, composition, material mastery (in this case, watercolor), to capture the essence of inspiring scenery.
