Van Gogh’s “Sunflowers” is simply irresistible. Bright and vibrant, and brimming with passion, it’s the perfect example of Vincent’s famous inimitable style. It’s also a great lesson in methods and techniques, and we’re going to have lots of fun exploring it, and painting it, together.

Learning from the work of the great masters is a time-honored tradition, and creating your own version of their wonderful masterpieces is one of the best ways to develop and refine your skills as a painter.

This class is for everyone who loves art and wants to enjoy a fun hands-on painting workshop. All levels are welcome — from beginners to seasoned artists.

Class Fee includes a premarked canvas

Optional Materials Fee: $25 (Covers paint, palette, and brushes)

Toaa Dallo has years of experience doing painting demonstrations for groups, and he will be guiding you with step-by-step instructions. A pre-marked canvas will help you to get off to a quick start, and Toaa will explain all the methods and techniques, showing you how everything works and keeping you on track. You will also receive individual attention and guidance.

You can use acrylics, oils, watercolors, pastels — whatever you like. Paints, brushes, liquids, palettes, and all the necessary equipment will be provided for a $25 fee, or you can bring your own stuff if you prefer.

Special Follow-up Session
These paintings can be challenging, and we have scheduled special optional follow-up sessions with Toaa so you can get extra help (Friday July 19). You’re invited to join these sessions for some additional one-on-one instruction, and so you can have more time to refine and complete your painting.
