Lobby Artist

Pat Michaud Towery
Abstract works, Japanese Koi & bamboo are just a few of the subjects explored by Mixed Media & Watercolor Artist, Pat Michaud-Towery. Pat is passionate about the bamboo, water gardens and Koi found in the Bay area. She’s a regular visitor at various Koi ponds to sketch in order to learn more about these fascinating creatures and their serene “homes”.

Her Mixed Media works on canvas are inspired by several trips to Scotland. Once there she travelled through the Highland glens & the northerly Orkney Islands to view ancient landscapes, the Ring of Brodgar & Neolithic archeology sites.

Ms. Towery has won numerous awards for her Watercolors & Mixed Media pieces from Southern CA to Monterey & the Bay area. Her paintings of Koi have been featured in magazines & calendars. In addition she shares her work & processes at the annual Open Studios Art Tour in Santa Cruz, CA. She is an active exhibitor in local venues. Pat can usually be found working in her studio at the 17th Avenue Studios, Bld. One #14 or out on location sketching & painting.
