OUTSTANDING IN THEIR FIELD

Lucien Kubo’s assemblages are part of the traveling  group exhibition "Some Assembly Required: Race, Gender, and Globalization"  curated by Shelby Graham, and organized by the Mary Porter Sesnon Art Gallery, UCSC, which is at the Craft And Folk Art Museum on 5814 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles. It runs through September 12, www.cafam.org.

Stephanie Martin is the featured artist at Artisans Gallery for the month of July. Her elegant monoprints and etchings mix flora, fauna, and myth. Reception: Friday, July 2nd , 6-8pm, part of the First Friday Art Tour.  1368 Pacific Ave., Santa Cruz.
